THE PROJECT SCOPE

The company was in need of an eCommerce site that could accommodate some restrictive shipping requirements. Since their product is sold frozen, it needed to be delivered within 2-days, anywhere in the USA.  aha! was able to accomplish this with some custom development.

Once the store was launched the number of abandoned carts was significant. After analyzing the shopper behavior we discovered that by allowing one or two small bags of food to be purchased, the shipping container and shipping costs were so significant that most people would not buy. aha! met with the client and redefined the way they sell the product by creating custom bundles. These were a pack of 6 or more bags of food, Customers can choose what proteins of each food they want in the bundle. This significantly changed the success of the site and the company.
